Draft Grade: C
|
|
Baltimore needed to get
beefier up front on the
defensive side. LB Ray
Lewis needs to be freed
up. DT Haloti Ngata
was selected because of
his massive frame and
ability to anchor the 3-4
front. A wise selection.
The waters of Baltimore's
Draft thereafter get a
little murky. Chris
Chester was a major
stretch in round two. With
little depth and less
talent behind starting CBs
Samari Rolle and Chris
McAllister, the Ravens
could've have gone for CB
help earlier but are
hoping David Pittman
(drafted at #87) and
Derrick Martin (drafted
#208) could fill the void.
Another target in the
passing game was needed
and Demetrius Williams
was the perfect choice in
round four. Running Back
P.J. Daniels won't
blow by anyone, but he's
tough runner who should
provide quality depth
behind Jamal Lewis. |
