Draft Grade: B
|
|
If nothing else, at least
the 2006 Draft provided
Oakland with a dominant
duo for the secondary.
Michael Huff was an
excellent choice at #7.
While he can play either
CB or Safety, he's
expected to win the Free
Safety job outright, and
in a year or less, Strong
Safety Darnell Bing
is expected to join him,
giving the Raiders a
thunder and lighting duo
at the Safety positions
that could become the best
in the business. Both
excellent choices, the
Raiders sandwiched a
Linebacker in between
them, nabbing Thomas
Howard from UTEP.
Other than that, Oakland
drafted for depth along
the O line. Oakland needs
one more Draft to complete
the rebuild of this
defense. |
