Atlanta continues prospect
farming on Virginia Tech
soil. After plucking stars
like Michael Vick and
DeAngelo Hall from the
program, the Falcons
traded up in round two to
land DB Jimmy Williams,
a gifted athlete who can
play CB or Free Safety.
Expect Williams to move
into the starting CB job
quickly opposite former Va
Tech teammate Hall. In
round three, Atlanta
picked up a solid
insurance policy for the
RB position when they
drafted Jerious Norwood,
the leading rusher in
Mississippi State history.
Norwood will be a nice fit
in the future. Duckett is
injury-prone and Dunn has
only one year left before
the Falcons part ways with
him. Day Two yielded
nothing for the Falcons. |
